Fertilizer Hammer Mill
Wide Material Adaptability
Suitable for processing organic fertilizer raw materials (cow manure, chicken manure, crop straw, sludge, fruit pomace) with consistent results.
High Crushing Efficiency & Uniform Granularity
The teardrop-shaped crushing chamber prevents material recirculation, and the rotor is dynamically balanced, resulting in higher production capacity than standard models; particle size can be adjusted by replacing the screen plates, making it suitable for mixing and granulation processes.
Simple Structure & Low Maintenance
Split quick-open machine housing, hammers/screens easy to disassemble and replace; few vulnerable parts, short downtime for overhaul, no complex assembly requirements.
Product Overview
The Fertilizer Hammer Mill is a material grinding machine specifically designed for fertilizer production lines. It is primarily used for the fine grinding of organic fertilizer raw materials and agglomerated compound fertilizer, and serves as the core pretreatment equipment in fertilizer production.
Working Principle
This Fertilizer Hammer Mill adopts high-speed rotating hammers to impact, shear and grind materials. Raw materials enter the crushing chamber, and are crushed repeatedly by hammer impact and liner collision. Qualified fine particles pass through the screen plate and discharge automatically, while large materials stay in the chamber for secondary crushing. The whole crushing process is smooth and sealed, ensuring uniform finished particle size and no material leakage.
Core Product Advantages
Wide Material Compatibility, Strong Versatility
The Fertilizer Hammer Mill fits most fertilizer production raw materials. It can stably process dry and semi-wet organic materials including chicken manure, cow manure, pig manure, crop straw, sludge, fruit residue and humus soil. It also perfectly crushes hardened compound fertilizer, chemical fertilizer blocks and granular raw materials. It supports multi-scene production of organic fertilizer, compound fertilizer and bio-fertilizer.
High Crushing Efficiency, Uniform Finished Particle
The equipment features an optimized teardrop-shaped grinding chamber design that prevents material recirculation and eliminates grinding dead zones, significantly improving the single-pass grinding efficiency. The rotor undergoes precision dynamic balancing, ensuring stable, vibration-free operation at high speeds and high production capacity. The output particle size can be adjusted by replacing screen plates with different pore sizes, meeting the granulation and mixing process standards of standard fertilizer production lines.
Wear-Resistant & Durable, Long Service Life
The core wear parts of the Fertilizer Hammer Mill—including hammer blades and screen plates—feature high hardness, impact resistance, and wear resistance. The machine body is constructed from a single piece of thickened steel plate and is equipped with enlarged, reinforced bearing housings, enabling long-term continuous heavy-duty operation. This design ensures low equipment failure rates and extends the service life of the machine.
Low Maintenance & Cost-Effective Operation
The equipment features a modular quick-release design, allowing for quick disassembly and assembly as well as the replacement of components such as hammer plates, screen plates, and liners without the need for specialized tools, making daily maintenance and servicing convenient and efficient.
Application Scenarios
This Fertilizer Hammer Mill is specially used for raw material crushing in organic fertilizer plants, compound fertilizer factories and agricultural waste recycling plants. It is the essential pretreatment equipment for fertilizer granulation, powder mixing and raw material recycling

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What are the 4 rules to follow when using hammers?
A1: Keep the work area clear of debris. Discard any hammer with a mushroomed or chipped face or with cracks in the claw or eye sections. Wear safety glasses or goggles or a face shield (with safety glasses or goggles). Strike a hammer blow squarely with the striking face parallel to the surface being struck.
Q2: What are the common problems with hammermills?
A2: Common issues include excessive wear of hammers and screens, screen clogging or blinding (especially with moist materials), unbalanced rotors causing vibration, and bearing failures due to lack of lubrication. Regular maintenance is key to preventing these problems.
