Corn cob pellet machine processes corn cobs into dense, uniform biomass fuel pellets.

Working Principle

The core working principle of corn cob pelletizers (typically ring die pelletizers) involves powerful extrusion molding by rollers and ring dies. The specific process is as follows:

• Material Preparation: Dried and crushed corn cob feedstock is fed into the machine's hopper.
  

• Feeding: The material is uniformly and quantitatively pushed into the forming chamber between the rollers and ring die.
  

• Extrusion Molding: High-speed rotating rollers compress the material into the honeycomb-shaped mold holes of the ring die. Under immense mechanical pressure and heat generated by friction, the lignin in the material softens, acting as a natural binder. This causes the material to be compressed and extruded through the mold holes.
  

• Cutting and Output: The continuous cylindrical strand that is extruded is cut into uniformly sized pellets by an external cutting blade, then discharged.
  

Structural Design

The feed tray features an enlarged and reinforced design.

It incorporates a unique structure with guide wheels and support rollers, ensuring long-lasting durability and maintenance-free operation.

Cooling System: All air-cooled radiators are enlarged, with extended oil lines for enhanced heat dissipation. Additionally, the oil lines arepositioned away from the equipment.
