Product Overview
A biomass pellet production line is a complete equipment system that processes various biomass raw materials—such as wood chips, rice husks, and straw—through a series of manufacturing steps to convert them into high-density, uniformly shaped solid fuel pellets.
Primary Raw Materials
The production line exhibits broad raw material adaptability, primarily encompassing:
Forestry Waste: Wood chips, sawdust, branches, shavings, etc.
Agricultural Waste: Rice husks, straw, palm shells, bagasse, etc.
Others: Energy crops, herbaceous plants, etc.
Core Process Flow
A complete production line typically includes the following key stages:
Raw Material Crushing: Crushers reduce larger raw materials into fine particles meeting pelletization requirements.
Drying: Dryers reduce raw material moisture content to an optimal range, a critical step for ensuring pellet quality and combustion efficiency.
Pelletizing: This is the core process. Raw materials are fed into a pelletizer, where they are compressed into high-density pellets under immense pressure and die compression.
Cooling: Pellets emerging from the pelletizer are hot and soft. They must pass through a cooler to reduce temperature and set their shape, hardening them for subsequent handling.
Screening and Packaging: Vibrating screens separate qualified pellets from fines. The final step involves weighing and packaging the pellets.
Core Components of a Production Line
A typical production line consists of the following main equipment:
Crushing System: Hammer crusher, chipper, etc.
Conveying System: Belt conveyor
Drying System: Drum dryer
Pelletizing System: Biomass pellet mill
Cooling System: Counterflow cooler
Screening and Packaging System: Vibrating screen, automatic packaging machine.
