Customers Visit the Site to Inspect the Corn Cob Dryer Production Line
A client who has recently been focusing on the processing of agricultural and forestry waste visited Yuchuan to inspect several models of drum-type corn cob dryers and review the details of the production line.
Fresh corn cobs have a moisture content of 35%–45%. Sun-drying them outdoors requires a large amount of space, and they are highly susceptible to mold and spoilage during rainy weather; small-scale drying equipment lacks sufficient capacity to meet expansion needs; energy consumption varies significantly among models using different heat sources, making it difficult to align with the client’s production budget; and uneven moisture levels in the dried material directly impact subsequent processes such as pelletizing. After comparing quotes and technical specifications from multiple equipment suppliers online, the client wished to inspect the craftsmanship of the complete machines and the production capabilities of the workshop in person to confirm whether the equipment would be suitable for their facility’s conditions.
The client toured the entire production facility, visiting each processing area of the production line in sequence. During the on-site demonstration, the core internal structure of the corn cob dryer was disassembled and explained: multi-layer material-lifting and dispersing plates, thickened sealed insulation layers, closed-loop hot air circulation channels, and an intelligent constant-temperature variable-frequency control system. A visual comparison was provided of the sheet metal thickness, material selection for wear-resistant components, and Sealing Process for the Entire Unit across different models, clearly illustrating the differences in energy consumption, service life, and maintenance costs associated with each configuration.
With the growing demand for the resource-efficient processing of agricultural and forestry waste, corn cob dryers are widely used in the feed, mushroom cultivation, biomass pellet, and chemical raw material pretreatment industries. Our factory has many years of experience in manufacturing drying equipment. Our full range of models supports customization to meet specific needs, and we offer one-stop solutions for complete production lines—including crushing, conveying, drying, and cooling. Relying on solid equipment craftsmanship and practical turnkey solutions, we serve raw material processing clients across the country.
Customers planning to set up a drying production line are welcome to schedule an on-site visit to our factory to discuss solutions tailored to their facility, production capacity, and budget!
