Product Overview
The Coal Rotary Dryer is a large-scale drying system specifically designed for high-moisture coal-based materials. It combines proven rotary drum technology with optimized heat exchange techniques to address the challenges associated with raw coal, coal slurry, lignite, and coal gangue. It is widely applicable in industrial settings such as coal mines, coal washing plants, power plants, and coal chemical plants, serving as the core equipment for moisture reduction, quality improvement, and resource utilization of coal materials.
Working Principle
The Coal Rotary Dryer features a drum structure that relies on the slow rotation of the drum to continuously convey the material. Wet coal is fed into the drum at a constant rate via conveying equipment. Specially designed material-lifting plates and anti-adhesion/breaking structures repeatedly lift and scatter the material, forming a uniform material curtain. The equipment operates in either co-current or counter-current heat exchange modes, allowing high-temperature hot air to come into full contact with the coal. This gradually evaporates both the free moisture within the material and the surface moisture, after which the resulting water vapor is promptly exhausted through a dust removal and exhaust system. The entire process is continuous and automated, reliably controlling the moisture content of the finished coal within the standard range.
