Product Overview
The Coal Rotary Dryer is a large-scale drying system specifically designed for high-moisture coal-based materials. It combines proven rotary drum technology with optimized heat exchange techniques to address the challenges associated with raw coal, coal slurry, lignite, and coal gangue. It is widely applicable in industrial settings such as coal mines, coal washing plants, power plants, and coal chemical plants, serving as the core equipment for moisture reduction, quality improvement, and resource utilization of coal materials.
Working Principle
The Coal Rotary Dryer adopts a rotating drum structure that enables continuous and efficient material conveying during operation. Wet coal is evenly fed into the drum at a controlled rate through the feeding system. Inside the drum, specially designed lifting plates and anti-adhesion structures continuously lift, disperse, and tumble the coal, creating a uniform material curtain that maximizes contact between the material and hot air.
The dryer supports both co-current and counter-current drying modes, allowing high-temperature hot air to fully penetrate the coal layer and efficiently remove moisture. During the drying process, free moisture and surface moisture within the coal are gradually evaporated, while the generated water vapor is quickly discharged through an integrated dust collection and exhaust system.
With a continuous and automated operating process, the Coal Rotary Dryer ensures stable drying performance, improves heat utilization efficiency, and accurately controls the final moisture content of coal to meet different production requirements. Its reliable design makes it an ideal solution for large-scale coal drying applications.
