Rice Husk Pellet Machine
Rice husk biomass pellet mill has significant advantages. The calorific value of its output pellet fuel is 3000-4000 kcal/kg, which is highly efficient in combustion, less soot, and can be used to replace coal and firewood for home heating, industrial boilers and other scenarios; the density is 1.1-1.3g/cm³, which is convenient for storage and transportation, and saves logistics costs. After treatment, it can also be used as feed filler, supplementing crude fiber and reducing breeding costs. environmentally friendly, harmful gas emissions during combustion are much lower than coal, carbon emissions close to “carbon neutral”, in line with environmental policies, but also to avoid the rice husk incineration pollution and landfill occupancy, to help the agricultural circular economy.
Principle of operation
Pre-treatment of raw materials: rice husk is first cleaned to remove impurities and dirt to ensure the quality of the final pellets. As the moisture content of rice husk is usually high, it needs to be dried to reduce the moisture to less than 15%, so as to improve the density and calorific value of the pellets. Next, the dried rice hulls are crushed into small particles of specific size using a pulverizer to prepare for the pressing process. Pressing: Inside the pellet mill, the pre-treated rice husk enters the compression system. Under high temperature and high pressure, the wood fiber inside the rice husk is destroyed, the water evaporates, and the material gradually becomes dense. At this time, the lignin in the rice husk is activated and acts as a natural binder. Under the strong pressure of the pressure rollers and molds, the rice husk is squeezed into the mold holes and shaped into pellets of uniform size and regular shape. Generally, the diameter of biomass pellets is 6 - 12 millimeters, and the length can be adjusted according to demand.
