Product Overview
The corn cob drum dryer is an industrial drying machine designed by our factory specifically for corn cobs with high moisture content. This drum dryer features a high hourly output per unit, low fuel consumption, and a uniform and stable moisture content in the final product, making it the preferred choice for corn cob drying in biomass processing plants.
Working Principle
The core drying component of the corn cob drum dryer is a rotating drum equipped with multiple layers of material-lifting and-tossing blades. Wet corn cobs are uniformly fed into the drum via the feeding system. As the drum rotates at low speed, the lifting blades continuously lift and toss the corn cobs, keeping them in a suspended state to ensure thorough heat exchange with the high-temperature hot air inside the drum.
The hot air rapidly exchanges heat and mass with the wet corn cobs, causing the moisture inside the material to vaporize quickly. The water vapor is then exhausted from the equipment via a dust collection and exhaust system. The material slowly rolls forward inside the corn cob drum dryer, and upon reaching the discharge end, it emerges as dried corn cobs with a moisture content that meets specifications. The entire process operates continuously and fully automatically, requiring no frequent manual supervision.

Feed and Discharge Conveying System:
Fully enclosed belt conveyors with variable-frequency drives that allow for flexible adjustment of feed speed;
Dust Removal and Purification Unit:
Cyclone dust collector + spray scrubber, compliant with environmental standards for exhaust emissions;
Drive and Support Mechanism:
